go crazy with the wiggly lines and color and stuff. The information goes in through the eyes, travels to the gut and heart which react, brain translating the raw stuff. Making an intuition explanation for an intuitive process seems to make the most sense.
Making studies of skulls helps my figurative work through the gathering of information about the structure upon which the face is wrapped.
