Drawings of Madge of Honor from Dr. Sketchy's Boston

Drawings of Madge of Honor at Dr. Sketchy’s Boston.
She’s prob’ly my favorite burlesque model at Dr. Sketchy’s, not just ‘cause she’s hot, but also ‘cause she’s dedicated to her art-form.   I mean, who else would bring an actual heart on stage and rip it in half with her bare hands?   I also remember a time when she covered herself in eggs, flour, and sugar to personify sweetness (with cupcake pasties?)
She designed her various outfits around female archetypes, like the Madonna, the Nude, and the Evil Queen.  (The top three)
Ink & watercolor on paper
The top three are A3 size (11.69”x16.54”).
The ones below that are all 11"x14".

The top three are A3 size (approx 11"x17").
The bottom two are 18"x24".

Drawings of Mike

 These're drawings of Mike.

The top four are ink & watercolor on A3 size paper. (close to 11"x17")
The bottom three are also on paper, but 18"x24"

Also, chairs etc are boring.  Skulls, much better.

Figure Drawings of Andrea, Mike, and Vanessa

18"x24" Ink and watercolor on paper, Matt Bernson 2013

Andrea is the model here (in the three below).  I think she plays...the oboe?  She's always smiling,
I don't know how she maintains that constant grin.

Mike is the model for the three below.

For these four below, the model was Vanessa.  She's always great, she does yoga
and has a personality that comes through in her poses.
She also said that my artwork is "funkadelic".

Fairy for the portfolio

Here's a fairy that I finished today for my portfolio to go tattoo-apprenticeship-hunting.

Surprised skull for portfolio

Here's the latest addition to my portfolio.
I hope the humor of the expression brings this away from the stereotypical
kind of skulls that are often designed for tattoo.
